Hi guys.why the auto lens cover in k850 is inside not out?

I mean why not like k810 and k800 lens cover??! The lens not protectd in that way.why sony ericsson make the cover from inside not on the lens from out cover it!!!

Because that's the way that SONY Ericsson designed it. If you want one of the other phone's designs, you should get one of those other phones. I like the way the design it. The camera lens does still protect the lens, and it itself is protected from anyone messing with it, or dirt getting in the cracks.

Ive got mixed feelings about where its placed. It looks realy cool where it is and the way it opens like a proper digicam BUT that glass/plastic on top of it totaly defeats the idea of having the lense cover, because that glass/plastic or whatever it is gets dirty when holding the phone in normal useage, so when you want to use the camera you still have to clean the back. Lol, i wonder if the brightspark who came up with the idea of putting the glass/plastic cover ON TOP of the auto lense cover still works for SE.

@GUCCI.011 yea that what i mean.i think the out lens is must be protectd.then what the usefull thing of put the auto cover frm inside!!?

Its look like if u make the door of the home come after the window

and u must break the window

or like if u want to save any glass from broking by put somthing in it not cover it

:-S its just like that i imagen it like that . The cover lens not usefull at all

Well, is not that usefull. You see, that lens cover protects that little tinny lens inside the lens cover from solar radiaton when camera is not in use.
