> P800 Bluetooth question

Ok, I'll be the first to admit that I really don't know much about Bluetooth. I have a HBH-30 and HCB-30, wich works good. Yesterday I bought a 3com Bluetooth USB adapter for my pc. After installing the Billionton drivers, this seems to work ok, altough I'm a bit puzzled that when I choose to connect Bluetooth Serial Port, it says that the Remote Device closed the connection, and then it works. BUT, this is my question: Is it normal that when I have established a Bluetooth serial connection (to be able to sync and copy stuff to the phone), I can't send images (or anything else) from the phone to the pc using "send as"? I always have to disconnect the Bluetooth serial connection first (which I do by turning off and on the Bluetooth..)

I just got myself a BT adapter from MSI. devices find eachother and bound. But I can't do anything else... when I try to use the tipic messenger, it just tries to connect via gprs accounts, and even though it can't get gprs connection, it won't connect via bluetooth.
if I try to send a pic via bluetooth, I get that my computer rejected it, even though I never got a question on my computer if I wanted to accept, and I have asked it to accept all connections.
If I try to establish serial connection from the computer, I also get that same message as you, that it is closed by the phone. but you said things work anyways? Nothing more happens to me. Can't access anything.
I really wonder about these things, I wanna use bluetooth to browse from my home when I'm in other rooms, and be able to access files on my computer, maybe use vnc and similar, maybe just send pics to my computer. but now I can't do nada... any help for us to poor bastards?

To the first question - I originally got stuck on the same issue! - Try to enabel BT-Serial Client and BT Serial Host in the m-router SonyEricsson Software (the "black line connection icon" on the task tray). For me that is COM5 AND COM6. When I only enabled one of them I was in the same trouble as you.
Second question: HBH-30
Works fine for me (Both with Beta Software on the Phone and with the Release Software) - Only Problem with the Beta Software: If paired with 3Com BT-PCMCIA and HBH-30 at the same time, the automatic call transfer was not working reliably when I called someone. Manual transfer was always possible.
No problems with re- and disconnecting.
