Installing the 3rd party applications to BlackBerry is a very easy process. There are two ways to install ImTOO BlackBerry Sudoku onto your BlackBerry: One is to download and install the program from BlackBerry over the air(OTA), the other is to download it to your PC, and install it via BlackBerry Desktop Manager from desktop. The following will show you how to install the program in detail.

1. Install Sudoku OTA (Over The Air)

“Over The Air” is the easiest way to install BlackBerry Sudoku puzzle on your BlackBerry.

Navigate with your BlackBerry browser to the Sudoku downloading page www.imtoo.com/blackberry-sudoku.html, and locate the .jad file. Click to open the file, its file information will then be displayed for your reference: name, version, vendor and size. Check the information, and follow the instruction on your screen to download the file, the program will then be downloaded and installed onto your Blackberry automatically and successfully. As you can see it is very easy!

2. Install via Desktop Manager

Since not all handhelds support OTA, in this case, using “Application Loader” to install programs applies. Application Loader is one of the programs in the Desktop Manager which is used to load .alx or .ali file onto your handheld.

Step 1: Visit www.imtoo.com/blackberry-sudoku.html to download the installation file of ImTOO BlackBerry Sudoku, and unzip the contents to a new folder. Inside you will find two files that end in .alx and .cod.

Step 2: Connect your BlackBerry to PC via USB, and launch the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.


Step 3: Choose the “Application Loader” option, and click the “Start” button below the “Add/Remove Applications” item in the “Application Loader” wizard, and then you will see a list that displays all the applications currently loaded on your BlackBerry.

Step 4: Click “Browse” button below the list, locate the .alx file from the dialog that opens and add it to the list.

Tip: Please ensure the .alx and .cod files are in the same folder, otherwise you will be warned that no additional applications designed for your handheld were found.

If they’re in the same folder but the error still occurs, then check the version of your Desktop Manager and download the newest version.

Step 5: After the .alx file is added to the list, it has been checked and click “Next” button, then the application loader will add the Sudoku puzzle to your BlackBerry.

After the successful installation, ImTOO BlackBerry Sudoku will be loaded onto your BlackBerry.

Congratulations – you have now installed Sudoku puzzle on your BlackBerry! Now enjoy playing Sudoku puzzle!
