I am still thinking about getting a C905 but i am really put off by all the problems people have had with them, If they haven't resolved the issues by now then they probably never will as they came out around 7 months ago.

If i do buy one it will be a sim free unlocked one and they cost £350.

Is the camera nearly as good as a digital camera?

You can get them on ebay for around £240 but you don't get any warranty so if it breaks you can't do anything about it.

You can send it to SE for repair, propably what the shop would do anyway. Doubt they'd give you a new one.

How can you send it away for repair if you have no receipt or proof of purchase?

The camera is more or less as good as a digi camera, if you plan on taking pics and printing them out on photo paper you are unlikley to see much difference, only if they are on A3 size.

If you purchase one on ebay you wont have warranty but will be able to send your phone to SE service repair, but there is a maximun charge of £10. Also Car phone warehouse have fixing centers in certain stores so you can take it to them, because they will accept all phones even if they were not bought from CPW. Usually there may be a cost involved, but your phone wont leave that store and fixing usually takes 1-3hours.

There is a very good store which sells used products called CEX they have outlets in every city. You can pick one up from the store, they are used though but are flahsed and dont have any scratches on fascia & come with all orignal packaging, for £199, but it is locked to a network so you are likley to suffer from branding, or cex also sell the c905 unlocked with all orignal (not branded) packaging & orignal se menus etc for £242. So an extra £42 for unlocked. Or you can get one that is grade C quality which basically means that there may be some scratches, or the box may not be the orignal but all orignal accesorys will be there for only £160 which isnt bad if your able to afford a new fascia. What is really good about cex is that all products come with 1year warranty from CEX and will be fixed by them, which is a added bonus.

Anyway i would purhcase one from CEX for £199 on O2 network (least branding) and flash it your self using davinchi.

B quality isnt too bad, pehaps one scratch, and when they buy back my products there prices are really good, i paid £200 for W910 (bought a carphone) and 7minths later they bought it of me for £120 :D which i was pleased about

Th people who work there are pretty crazy, same for all cex stores, there was this one woman who had bright red scratches (more like knife marks) all down her wrist and neck
