> w800i record sound problem

Hi people, I've got a problem with my w800i in that the 'record sound' application which can be found under entertainment is not wokring anymore. I click on that application as normal, but the application does not seem to start. However when I look in the sound file there is a new file in there, which is only 6b in size and is not recognised as a sound file.
I've taken the battery out of the phone and left it out for a while in the hope that it will reset itself, but it didn't work, hence the reason I'm posting on the site.
Any help would be appreciated as I don't know where to start.
