I have the R3C software on the R6B hardware for the T68i and I was able to save pics from the wap sites (i.e. esato, sonyericsson, etc.) with no problem.

@Maz42089
I sincerely hope you are correct, but I remain suspicious.
I am not sure who is responsible, but sw version R5D007 has had the 'save picture' function turned off. If at&t is not responsible, then it must have been
's decision. But that doesn't make much sense. Why whould a phone manufacturer randomly turn off a feature that is avaiable in every other sw version? Do you think it is possible that R5D007 may have been designed specifically according to at&t's specifications? And surely at&t has a good motive for controlling content: they can make more money if they only allow users to download their exclusive, for-pay content.
Like I said, I dont know for sure which entity was responsible for the change. But please help me to understand why SE and not at&t would benefit by taking out the 'save picture' function.
Respectfully,
T68iFan

I'm currently looking into this, as of now, the t68is is the guilty party. The t68i is fine.
I'm not sure if theis is AT&T's doing or SE's

Sorry kids, but it's true. Sony Ericsson disabled the Save Image function on the T68is with R5D007 firmware at AWS' request. And yes, it is so that they can charge for content with their mMode sites. Apparently, it hadn't occured to them that people would be getting FREE images from other sites too.
