> im coming London with some P800s!!!!
Bookmark topic
Firstly i will like to apologise if this is the wrong forum to post. I am about to travel to London for holiday this coming wed 22 Jan, and will have a few sets of the above phone for sale. the 1st seven sets i will be selling at uk$600, subsequent 3 sets for uk$650. I will be staying over a friend's place and was informed it is Zone 3, Outer London, Wimbledon. Buyers will have the chance to examine the sets, verifiy it is new and retail version, before making a payment. i do not expect to bring more than 10 sets in until i check out if there will be any customs implications. any questions feel free to email or ask me here or i can leave my cell phone number to discuss further.
Thanks !!

Anyone veiwing these phones should look for the label under the battery (the one with the barcodes on it) in the corner of that label it states the warrenty area if it`s europe then you have a warranty in UK, if not then beware, £600 is OK in my opinion if it has UK backup.
I have seen some with "indonesian warranty" & i think you don`t get UK warranty.

Hi Tony thank god you got my thread started! I was really thinking about dropping the idea of selling in london when no 1 seems to reply to my thread...
I did took out the handset, did not see any indication on the word EUROPE. Neither does it states Indonesia. But in all fairness i do not think the handset warranty does not covers usage in Europe. I have a service and support booklet that comes with the phone claiming warranty status in almost all europe countries. There is even a contact center number for UK. Pardon me if i am wrong, but i have bought sets from other countries and have the head set firmware successfully upgraded at my local service centers in the past for free. Why will it not applies the same in uk?

I would bee concerned if the barcode sticker with the warranty area is not present as it also states the imei. you may well be right, SE may WELL service non european phones in europe, but my post was alerting people of,
1. where to look
2. SE do not have to repair a phones in UK if they were bought outside EU.
3.some imports offered by UK companies are expensive because that retailer is giving a UK warranty (warranty is VERY important with such a highly technical device).
You will notice that at no point did i say i thought your price was high or low.
I hope you help the many desperate people in UK get there phones.
It is certainly £50 cheaper than flying to Stockholm & getting one.

there is defintely barcode sticker with the imei number on it

.. just that i couldnt find the word uk, nor europe.
I hope you did not think i take offence with your post, cause being a transparent seller, i will only want the best experience for both parties. i am gald you highlighted some pointers which is defintely very useful when making a purchase for a headset.
One thing anyone that might be considering buying on escrow basis elsewhere, do take note that there is a lot of fake escrow sites around. I know, because i was almost fooled into sending out a consignment of 5 sets to his Italian address.

Lots of scams involving these highly desirable units are around, so your offer to view in the flesh is a good way to do it, it`s a little concerning that you appear not to want to say the country of origin, as tony says it`s in tiny print in the top righthand corner of the barcode sticker under the battery Maybe it`s not on yours. by the way every phone shop owner who see`s mine wants to buy it off me.

ok i shall start off on a better note by declaring.. mine is a Singapore set, with the local authority approval sign on it. The reason why i am actually offering to fly down is since i have a friend whom i can put up in the meantime, i figured that if i get to sell these sets it can possible pay for my air ticket and a bit of expenses.
hey pachy if you dont mind can you tell me what does yours says? maybe i should just get that too.
gee... with 2 days to go before i actually fly to London, i really hope i have a few confirmed buyers for these phones.. when will uk retailers officially launch the phones anyway ? and for how much ?If there is any more things you guys like to know free free to ask here

yeah hi, can you get any bluetooth headsets? Either the SE hbh-30 (i think thats the one) or the motorola one? I am willing to pay a good price. Reply back if you can, and with a price you are expecting. Also are you able to get MMC cards, either 64mb or 128mb? Thanks for your time and i look forward to your reply.
