One of the many features I like with the C905 firmware upgrade, is Walk Mate. Thought it would be interesting to see how many steps people take daily. I leave my Walk Mate app running all the time (doesn't increase battery drain at all), so each day it monitors how much walking, bicycle riding and movement I make. So anyway, I'll start...

My daily average after a week is 14, 394 steps per day.

What's yours?

Really? do you have any idea how long will it equivalent to?

average foot step is 2.5 feet, after calculation, you walk 10km, or 6.2 miles, each day! do you live in countryside? lol

Yes, actually I do! But apart from that, I walk or bicycle ride most days and also do a lot of walking in my job.

Well walkmate isn't exactly accurate and for measuring stuff like that I use my good ol W710(the only damn fitness phone SE ever damned bother to make. I want a newer model dammit!) to measure steps. How much do I walk? Around 8000 per day.

I average about 11 000 a week, i study during the week which doesnt give me much steps but at the weekend I work in retail I can accumulate 17 000 steps on saturday and again on sunday!

My record for the day was 24 000 when I went hill walking.

I dont think its very accurate. I walked about 10 steps and it didnt register any at all. If I run though it will register.

I thought the same as you did at first, but actually it is very accurate. The thing is it does not start immediately to count steps. You have to keep walking a little more and then it begins to count. It detects "constant" movement so it begin, but if you do 3 steps and stop it will not count it.
