yesterday, as every week, i went into one of my local phone stores to see if they had the P800 yet (MPC Leamington Spa). I asked at the counter, and the woman said-- it will be out in about 2 weeks but i dont think you will be able to afford it, it will be £700 on Contract! It was not until after i left the store that it hit me as to what she had just said.... £700! £700! i think there may be some 'bullshit' going on here as you can buy 2 ipaqs for that, but still.......

Obviously she has it wrong. You can buy a P800 from Sony off contract for £550, so there is no chance it'll be £700 on contract. More likely to be around the £250-300 mark.

Well take your business somewhere else (vote with your feet) find a Carphone Warehouse store & in a couple of weeks pay £250 - £299 + contract. OR order from Expansys (online) at £528 sim free or telephone order from SE at £499.

CPW in Manchester told me that P800 will be available on contract for £400, they also pointed out that it will be available on all networks including Orange.... the reason for this??

Obviously the peeps at CPW know squat if they came make assumptions like the latter... and tellin this to their customers.. thats even worse.
That was the same day i went into Dixons and the guy at the counter tried selling me a Sony digital camera that his mate nicked from that same store.... fekin scally.
monkeys can do a better job than half the 'qualified' peeps that work in these stores!
anyways. we are probably looking at £200-£250 on contract for P800. (thats not official, its just my opinion)

Just noticed expansys will be selling the phone in an estimated 14 days, at a price of ~£300 with a 24 month contract. This should mean that we will see it in the shops for about £250 on a 12 month contract.

carphone warhouse is (mainly, in my exp) full of stupid retards who only ever use nokia. this girl was tryin to say that the 3410 was better than the sony j70, apparently the scroll things impossible to use.
when i asked them about the p800 they said they didn't know wat it was and 3g should be coming out this summer so i can expect anything like it then. and when asking how i can set up mms, back in october, they had no idea what it was and said that picture messaging only works on nokia at the moment.

Im sorry if i got a bit bitchy about the peeps at CPW but thats how i feel.... maybe comparing them to monkeys was a bit much.... so i apologise to any peeps that i may have offended.
ps. my cat... who has 3 legs...one eye...and a twitch, well he can do a better job!! jk!!
