I've got a chance to buy a C905 the manufacture date of it is 09 Week 10 would this phone be ok to buy or would it have the same hardware problems? I could probably get it for around £220-£250 or would it be best to buy a brand new C905 Plus for £350?

mine is 08 w44 and works perfectly, although I would imagine SE's QC might have stepped up by 09 w10.. there is no guarantee

get it anyway, they are fantastic phones.. if you have any problems just get it repaired until you are happy, it is worth it at least until the idou is released

Also to confirm I have also got one which is 09 model and to be fair I was concerned at first, but... TOUCH WOOD its all good and working, well... Its a decent handset... much much better then the DAMN K850i...

I bought mine 08 w43, so it must have been produced some time before. Never had any problems. A friend of mine bought his the same day, never had any problems.
