Hey everyone:) I have read every tutorial out there on how to debrand (flash) a K850i. I just have a few questions:
1) I still have a 1 year warranty, so where can I find the R1FA035 Vodafone SO MAIN and R1FA035 SO FS. And also 1200-5441 R1FA035 VFE-LIVE-A Customization?
I tried 4Shared but can only find the MAIN there, so then I still need FS and Customization.
2) Are the following firmware files all compatible with each other and will they work?
MAIN: K850_R1FA035_MAIN_GENERIC_SO_RED52.mbn
FS: K850_R1FA035_FS_AMERICA_RED52.fbn
CUSTOMIZATION: K850i_1201-0095_R11A_GENERIC_AMERICA.zip
Thank you!

The files are ok. Have you tried
www.seusers.com or
www.topsony.com? Both are free now to download once registered.

Ok cool boysie, thanx for reply:) WEIRD, Just before I read your post I opened up SEusers, HAHA. Thanx for the links, I'll have a look right now.
EDIT: OK I found the files on SEusers:) Now to flash, I hope it all goes well.
Just BTW I am not actually flashing because I hate the vodafone interface and icons but also because the phone gave me 4 brods today!

Wait I have another question:
Can I flash while the phone is plugged in to power? On the SE charger's plug you can plug in the usb or earphones or whatever, so will it work?

SUCCESS!!!

Ok I have flashed to R1FA035 generic, and it all went good.
I almost had a few heart attacks though. The first was when I switched the phone on and it only said: "PLEASE WAIT" for more then 2 mins. It then restarted and said please wait again and this time it asked me for my pin. I put it in and then BROD! I switched it on again and entered my pin again and it hasn't brod' since then.
I am wondering though, do you think the "brod" I got when I wanted to put my pin in the first time (I just unlocked the keypad and it restarted) was a brod or because I just flashed it?
