The ones with a Chinese codename is from China, Japanese name from Japan, Swedish from Sweden etc.

Most SE's are made in China lately, when I check our little collection, only 3 "older" phones are not chinese : the brilliant W900i is (of course) made in Japan, our beloved W810i is from Malaysia and my P990i (still in daily use and one of my favourites) was made in France.

...that's right: ALL P-series up to P990(from P800) were made in France......
And uber-W900, and indeed it's swivelling forefather,
S700, were both built in Japan(and it shows, especially ~5 years later!)......

Yes i had an S700i years ago that was Made in Japan. My fave SE phone still to date.
