The majority of phones for sale are unwanted upgrades that people have got on contract.
The thing is if i buy a phone from someone off ebay and it's an unwanted contract upgrade couldn't they get the phone barred or blocked or can the network operator bar the phone if they found out that the person had sold it on? it's something that i need someone to answer asap as i might be buying a C905 off ebay but wanted to ask about this before making a bid.

yes. anytime you buy a second hadn phone you have this potential risk
you can cover yourself to some extent if you can get a signed receipt that the phone was sold to you, but thats no guarantee
