Well here a few excerpts from Elder's stupid blog where he is infamously trying to kill SE.

The results are translated and thus may seem a bit weird.

Q:Eldar, but who else is using the platform manufacturers Ericsson? (if I correctly put it) just trying to provide a purely hypothetically, if Eriksson goes, to whom he can still offer what is now soneriku? Or so to speak correctly (incorrectly).

A:hardware to everyone - nokia, samsung, etc.
ON nobody would be particularly interesting
They did offer to sell to Nokia, and refused. With a month ago, as far as I remember

Q:Knowingly refused. They would have little consistency in the interface has not stopped it would be ... But one thing to have refused the offer when there is Eriksson SE, and another when the left only SONY. Or I am wrong?

A:Given that the se bases its model on the nokia ui, what delights refusal Nokia? What is the purpose of buying their own development?

Q:What in your opinion is "based its model on the nokia ui"? My opinion is that you are somewhat mistaken about the significance of nokia ui. I remember when you first mentioned about it after the appearance of green and red tubes in the Z750, but the fact that support for nokia ui was mentioned in the White pages of models in the A100! And the explanation that I have seen that this actually means support for nokia ui in the annexes. In this faith - not seen a single application from Nokia, which would not run on the SE. Just from what you say to the conclusion that the SE almost stupidly copied Nokia works, although in reality on the friendliness of the interface, c40 nervously smoking in aside ...

A:Hmmm, this means that the interface is identical to the logic - the difference in the icons, the location of settlements and so on. Hence the support of applications including.

And I'm no wrong, never.
Illogicality menu on Nokia S40 in my opinion it is a myth. Exactly the same organization, all the usual, everything is clear. Would you like to choose any type of presentation of the menu, please. Location of historic items. Now looked in 6700 did not see anything illogical. You can rub what nedruzhelyuben the interface from Nokia, that he does not know how, and so on? that is, SE A100 or A200.

Anyone care to explain what he meant by this?? SE copied Nokia's UI??

Well. The actual topic was on Ericsson's comment on the logical buyer of SE, i.e. sony. Elder was commenting on a few questions that were put up on the blog.

Of what I could make out was Someone was asking eldar if SE could sell its stake to someone else, hardware or software. To which Eldar replied that they wculd sell the hardware part to anyone but no one is interested. Nokia, according to him, had already turned down a buyout plan provided to them by SE.

The next question was with Nokia out thus the only logical buyer was sony o why did Nokia not buy it as they could have elaborated on the Ui.?

Eldar replied that as SE was predominantly "building on nokia's UI", Nokia had no gain in buying SE.

Well. according to eldar, Se stupidly copied Nokia's Ui and has been terming it as theirs since time infinity.

Oh i see, but SE's UI doesnt realy look like a copy, i remember when i had my 7250i and a mate got a K700, the SE UI made the Nokia look completely dull and outdated, so did the T68i, it didnt look like Nokia at all, OR does Eldar know something we dont?

This is illogical.
Why would SE split the hardware and software divisions of the company?
Furthermore since when are SE presenting buyout plans to potential buyers? S and E have always said they remain committed to the partnership. The profit taking last year worried me as it signaled Ericsson getting restless IMO but the company is certainly fixable. Now is not the time to bail because SE would not survive changes in ownership.

Ohkay...sorry guys. The hardware part was misleading and i take full blame for my studity. The question was about ericsson's hardware platforms and who they are going to supply to if SE goes to Sony. I guess they offered Nokia the platform to which they refused. Remember the U500?? Well.. but the Ui art still does not clear up. Positioning of menu icons doesnt really make one a copy. or does it??

I really don't understand why you lot are so obsessed with the guy. You have no idea what he spins or lies about or if indeed he knows anything at all?
He hates SE with a vengeance, from what I remember he hates the phones they made and the direction they went and ha since constantly slaged SE off!
Just ask yourself, google it and see if there is ANY news of SE offering itself to Nokia, I bet you find any, do you really think anything like that would not have a mention, anywhere?
And considering the current financial catastrophe we're all living in and that Nokia's profit's have dropped and it's laid people off, I don't really see it or any other company being interested in buying anything at the moment.
