> Vodafone dreadful 3G coverage

Totally regretted moving to Vodafone just for cheaper tariff on pay as you talk. Every single place i travel i have hardly ever once picked up 3G coverage. At best across the city all i get is one to two bars of 3G even in city centre. I have been everywhere its completely dreadful and i cannot believe Vodafone claim to have such wide coverage claims. I got stronger 3G on Orange even O2. Has anyone else experience such poor Voda 3G? Lol im off back to Orange i only changed cos i was impressed with the new pre pay Freedom Packs but 3G simply does not exist ANYWHERE on Vodafone. I can understand if i was in a small village or countryside but not the city. My phone and sim are fine and set to 3G and GSM. Oh well. Here back i come Orange lol

You sure you got a 3G phone & a 3G enabled sim card? sounds obvious I know but I thought most providers nowadays only give a 3G sim with a 3G enabled phone on contract, not on PAYG. I'm 99% certain Orange do this, maybe Voda are the same?

Dont be silly i have a SonyEricsson c510 it picks up HSDPA but where ever i find any coverage its at best 2 bars. On Orange its 4 to 5 everywhere thats why im going back. All networks provide 3G sim as standard on pay as you go except Orange where you buy one in store if you order their free ones they are not 3G. I just am very let down by Vodafone's so called wide 3G coverage its poor and thats everywhere. O2 was better and thats saying something. Though Orange is the best imo so im going back lol
