I'm looking for reviews of these but haven't found any yet besides one at Amazon. Has anyone tried these headphones? How is the sound quality?
I once had Sennheisers MM 50 (they do not make them anymore), had a really good sound quality until they broke for the third them and I got my money back so I went back to the ones that I got along with my walkman-phone W890, some in-ear headphones.. dont know their product name.

Anyway, these Sony Ericsson HPM-88 look very interesting. I sometimes have hard times to sleep during loud surroundings but my in-ear SE headphones do pretty well on that part in isolating, so the only thing I need to know now, will the sound quality improve? It's pretty bad right now with those SE headphones I use now..

Cheers

Edit: Found out they are called HPM-70, the ones I currently use.

Decided to buy it, got them today. They are really shitty tbh. Stay away from these overpriced unless you truly want the noice cancelling function!

I could compare the sound to the ones I currently have HPM-70 which has a nice lack of base and so on.

I'm gonna return these today or tomorrow and get my money back. Will never buy any SE headset again. Probably going for the Sennheiser earphones or Ultimate Ears via the 3.5mm connection instead.

Very dissepointed considering these are fairly new and a tad expensive. Suppose that's what happens to Swedish quality when it goes Asia.

And i thought that they were fine... I'm using a Sennheiser mx-400 and i think the sound quality is quite acceptable... have you tried them?

I bought them because they come with a similar design than SE, they have a short cable, and they plug in an extension cable, very convenient IMO...

No sorry but similar, mine was called Sennheiser MM-50, got them along with that Sony Ericsson extension so I didn't need any 3.5mm output. Very nice sound, it's a shame they got broken so many times.

Perhaps I should give Mx-400 a try. How is the bass? The main thing I totally miss from the glory Sennheiser MM50-times when I started to use SEs earphones.

i tried these and ended up returning them....i didn't like the feel of one cord being longer than the other and the sound quality wasn't worth the price i paid at the time
