> Booting a C702 using only the USB cable & a PC?

My C702 power switch has somehow bust inside my handset so I can no longer turn it on, otherwise it's fine & to avoid paying probable extortionate fees to get it fixed I'm trying to think of a way to boot it using my PC.
I've tried the SE PC Suite but I need it in 'PC' mode first which I can't do for obvious reasons.
I've tried using SEMC to restore it & hope it would boot it afterwards however I'm stuck on the 'Hold C' part as holding C when plugging in my phone does nothing, I can however boot in mass storage mode so I know it still works.
I'm tearing my hair out so any suggestions are welcome!
