Hi there, I'm back...
Just wondering, I'm looking to buy a new memory card, I normally just buy the M2 ones but as my K850i can also take microSD I was just wondering what the differences between the M2 and microSD? Because the SD is cheaper, so is this like slower or something? And what is the difference between MicroSD and MicroSDHC (I know HC is cheaper but does this work with the K850i?)
Also, I was maybe considering getting an 8GB is this crazy? Would it like kill my phone

The differences between the memory cards there is not much as far as i know its just M2 Memory Stick Micro is Sony's own type of memory card whereas SD is a standard type memory card which most portable devices take. In an unusual move Sony Ericsson decided to use both types of card for the K850i which in my mind is good. Memory sticks are bit more expensive too. But for some reason i find the memory sticks more reliable than SD or is it just me? SDHC means High Capacity

Okay, thanks, on wikipedia is says that SDHC aren't compatible with some devices do you know if the K850i is one of them?

The HC in SDHC means High Capacity. All SD's over 2GB are SDHC cards as the SD standard only supports upto 2GB. As far as I am aware the K850i should be ok with 8GB MicroSDHC cards.

m2 works better with SE phones than SD...
and in general too, m2 is okay with SD,
SD is cheaper cause its mass-produced, while M2 is made only by SONY...
buy 4gb M2 and 4gb SD, if you can do that. it makes sense to have two disks...
or you can buy 8GB sd.... it'll work fine with K850
however, a kool warning - when the 8gb is full, your phone may have chances of becoming slow...
