Why is it all Sony Ericsson phones i have used start off when writing a text nice and fast and speedy then after you get to the 2nd or 3rd text whilst writing its slows down so badly. Happens with every model i use. Why?

you can try to edit the original FONTS.xml file in TPA\\PRESET\\SYSTEM\\FONTS,change the "engine cache size" to larger amount like change 393216 to 1393216,i don't know this work in db3150 or db3210 or not,but work fine in my K810i

My old T610 was extremely slow but not my W910. I haven't noticed slow downs with G705.

apr, changing cache size for texts, doesnt it slow other apps? just a question...

and yes, this method works, so thats your solution. in newer models, the work-load of text writing is same, but cache is more, so no more lags...

Oh ok that confused me lol. Oh well guess i will just live with it. I just thought i would ask really. My c510 is really fast at first say for first 2 texts then it gets to SMS 3 whilst writing and its awful slow.
