THANKS! But i got around it...
i just backed up my p800 from the comp and then it let me restart it and turn off the lock thing....
sheesh.
is there any way to lock the buttons on the p800 and the touch screen without doing it in virtual flip mode...
cuz i like it how when the flip is on, it automatically locks the keys when i don't use it for a while.
that feature would be nice with the keypad off as well.

ok, sorry, but the only one i find in the manual and on the phone is a password lock under "display" in the control panel. so is there no other automatic lock like the one with the keypad on?

i must say i haven't removed the flip since i got it! cuz it protects the screen more efficient and the second reason is the auto unlock!! it doesn't bother me at all anyways that's why!!

about your problem also read through the manuals but couldn't find something! i think you just need to put on the keypad again!!

in Flip removed mode...
goto Phone functions (3rd icon on the shortcuts)
EDIT -> PREFERENCES -> LOCKS
tick the Automatic key lock

i have this on now and my flip off... hope this helps
