well the title says it all. I used to have a K750i and a certain genius topsony came up with a way to get rid of the operator logo.

it's too long ago for me to remember how so I'd like to know if there's a way to patch the FS of the K850i to get rid of both the operator LOGO and the time and date lines on the main screen.

all info is appreciated...thanks in advance.

no need patch...you can do that just by edit your layout_main.xml
Also there's no way to patch K850 yet

But i found patch for K858,W980i,W595,C702 and C902,just don't know how to patch it because i don't have one of these phone

gracias all, the evil rogers (my monopolistic operator here in Canada) is gone.

now I dug through the layout file and I saw a few date and time entries... which one needs to be removed to get rid of time and date on the home screen?

I know bout that...but unfortunately K850i are unpatchable...
Try edit your layout_main.xml or if you didn't know how to do that, you could use SELE
