I just came across this blog which has excerpts of a girl who protested in front of a Sony Ericsson store in India and got arrested for that! She had purchasd a W595 which wnt defective within a short period of time. Post that, she had a harrowing time repairing the phone and getting it back..

Some of the words there are in Malayalam (her local language) but most of it is English. Worth a read!

Would you do something like this?

I dont actually get what she was protesting about. It said her phone broke, she took it to a service centre/ shop and they repaired it. Was she protesting because they fixed it?

No. It took 2 months to fix a phone. A brand new one. She is miffed about the SE representatives attitude.. rather than .

You never know with SE. My wife's C905 was gone for 5 weeks to fix button and only 9 days to replace a cable. Btw its always good if someone stands up.

Service centres are notoriously nasty...especially in Asia.
