are these speeds actual or maximum.i use bsnl prepaid.how to reach speed of 50kbps.3kbps is nothing worth.i recently purchased aircel gsm sim.its speed are also same.why is this happening.is gprs made for just 3kbps.i also talked to ccare they said speeds are above 30 kbps.there network is edge enabled still?

yeah, ip ad can boost your speed but there are other ways too. 3G and HSPDA is the key. and also some tricks on your pc. I forgot how to edit it but you can ask my ucle google for that. he is the genius of all genius.

First you tell me which mobile are you using if it is advanced features mobile than you can recieve good amount of speed. You are recieve slow connection. Why does it happen? Because its depend upon the signal suddenly its breaks up. And again it will connect automatically. So Networks depends.

gprs is real to slow compared to 3g,hsdpa edge,wifi etc. compatible handsets.. dnt expect to much on it ,anyways its wireless connection thing, depends on the signal strenght too.so best way is to purchase 3g phone to avail more convient speed for you phone.

@vatsalmbd, i'm not sure, if you know that the GPRS speed is 115,2kbs, but what you should know, that this value, is theoriqu.... And the speed that you get depand of your phone signal...:-)
