I recently won an Adriatic Blue Faceplate on ebay.co.uk.

It came this morning in the sony ericsson box, It looks great, Im pretty sure its an original however on the inside there is no holder for the vibrating motor, Is that normal?

I am aware that you have to take the vibrating motor from the old cover, but the holder too? Its just empty along the bottom.

I've never done one before so maybe Im just looking at it wrong!

Thanks in advance for help.

I dont wanna just fit it without it and I dont wanna mess around with it incase it needs to be sent back.

there shld. be a holder in that new casing. in the lower portion on the casing...maybe the casing being delivered to you is defective if it's really original as you've said. holder is just like a clip to hold the vibra motor in place.

hope this will help.

Like in this picture?

It wasn't cheap either! £32.13 (about €50!)

Do you think the guy has sold me a cover from a dummy phone?

yeah... just like that one... might be a dummy cover you have gotten... or just a defective cover..

Im gonna email the guy!

Its also missing the plastic bit, just below the joystick in the back.

I love it, but I definitely dont wanna lose the vibration function. Is there a way round it?

The screw holders are blue plastic, the same blue as the cover.
