I have for sale a good condition 8GB 1st Gen, Ipod Touch, but sadly it has a fault.

There are the normal marks, but not worth worrying about that much, but I thought I would just mention that.

The fault is as follows....

When turned on the screen says 'Disabled go to itunes'

You can turn the ipod off with the off button, and the slider shows which you slide across, and the ipod shuts down.

This was my sons ipod, but after upgrading his PC he now cannot restore the ipod.

I'm sure someone can repair this and get back up and running again.

That's about it really.

Comes on it's own just the ipod touch.

Offers from £50 please.

Can't you put it in DFU and force-restore it?

I'm assuming the 'Disabled' message that is coming up is because there was a passcode lock on the device which has been entered incorrectly too many times? When this happens it'll want you to plug it back in to the PC it was synced with ie the 'Home' PC. Obviously this isn't possible now, but all you should need to do is either put it in Restore mode or failing that DFU mode and then restore the firmware
