Hi..I just bought this phone and when I try to zoom while taking pics it doesnt allow me, can this be customized so that I can zoom, and also can the light be made to function as a flash. Thanks in advance.

Hi ranger, i'm afraid that the zoom functionality is not in the camdriver, so it cannot be modified, currently you can only zoom in vga mode.

About the light, i think there is an option in the camera menu to use it as a flash. When you enter the camera, press the left (lower) softkey, it should bring up said menu.

Thanks for the reply. What I wanted was the light to work a real flash. I hope some one can post a modded file with zoom.

brazzuka has posted a modified camera driver that will work with w705, but as lightspeed_x said, you will not be able to get zoom.. it's a limitation that a driver cannot overcome, sorry. also, the light cannot be used as a flash (it won't get brighter while the camera takes its shot as it did in k750/w800/w810 with the double LED).. the light will just stay as a light and won't get brighter.
