Is it just me or does this phone have short battery life? It last about 30 hrs without active use! No mp3 or anything just calling and SMSing. Is this normal?

Do you have 3G switched on or off? 3G uses more battery power much more quickly. Turn it off if so. Are you playing alot of music also or browsing the net alot?

No I never play nor listen music due to short battery life. I just tried disabling 3G, will post back my results...

Ah thats probably it then. Cos 3G is faster and more powerful it kills batteries faster. Also when your out and about even if your phone is in standby in your pocket the phone will constantly skip between GSM and 3G coverage which also uses more power. Your phone is constantly searching for a signal which also uses power so keep 3G off if you dont need it
