I have searched google about unlocking my T-mobile k800 CID53 for free by flashing the phone, but totally confused as some people are saying CID53 is not possible yet, but there are also lots of guides with many different methods which claim to work on CID53 k800.

I was just wondering if somebody could point me to a guide that is known to work for my phone (K800i CID53 R8BF003)?

Bearing in mind that you need the correct sim to start with to be able to unlock CID53 by patch.

Thanks guys. I have got my t-mobile sim card so thats fine.

So to confirm if I just follow those steps 1 to 15, it will unlock my phone?

EDIT: So I searched around a bit more and found I need to apply a patch to unlock my phone. Found this program to generate the unlocking .vpk file:

So after I have followed steps 1 to 15, I just apply the .vpk patch I have generated with "Remove SIM-lock patch generator v2.2" and my phone will be unlocked?
