The P800 pens have quite a bad design. They do NOT have a perfectly rounded tips because of the moulding tools. The risk of scratching the screen is more than 0%. The pen tip is quite sharp.
You can make it perfectly round tips with a solder pen or a lighter. If you hold the pen very close from the heat the tip melts to a perfect round shape. BE CAREFUL though or you will melt the pen and destroy it. Luckily you have 3 in spare so...it might be worth a try.

Nope sorry. First thing I did was buy a screen protector and a proper stylus. I only use the P800 styli when I don't feel like bringing around my multi-pen.

BTW, my screen protector also reduces glare, and give my P800 a very good 'paper-feel'.

Buy a Bic e-pen. 3-in-one. PDA, Ink and graphite. Cost is about $4. I just love mine. Used it for 1 year and still not lost it...
