> p800 or spv!? please help!

Hey!
Like other UK residents, I've been waiting for a long time for the Sony Ericsson P800. I recently did some research into the Orange SPV and from what I can see, both phones are fairly similar. I really do need your help in deciding which one to get. I can either get the Orange SPV now or I can wait longer for the Sony Ericsson P800. What would you choose? I also need some information on both phones. Does the Orange SPV have a speaker phone for the phone calls and MP3s? What is the quality of the programs and software on both phones? Can all web pages be viewed on both phones? Also, what video and music files do both the Orange SPV and Sony Ericsson P800 support? I'm not so sure about the Orange SPV because I can't seem to find much information. Therefore, can some owners of the SPVs please put up some videos or photos which can be accessed. If people have videos of the SE P800 that would help too! I really do need your help in choosing and any information on either phone would help!

Sorry, totally wrong question, out of bounds. IMHO there is no way to compare the SPV to the P800. Decide what you need, and then get the device you want.
If you want all you can have, take P800, it has all you will ever need.
SPV... Well, M$... That's all I say. Havent heard anything good about it, and considering the price-drop, it's not selling at all...

i tested the SPV for about two months and i have returned it 5 times cuz it has a system breakdown! how is that for an argument??

Ultimately its up to you to decide. I was going to get a P800, but after realising that i would be using it for Mp3 and the like i kinda changed my mind. There isnt currently a phone on the market that i want as the Spv is really slow and has below average battery life, and the P8 uses memorystick duo (in my opinion a bad move for us, a clever one on behalf of sony) they are both good phones so its up to you:-)

I don't think there is much to compare with the SPV and P800. P800 is simply better (Tri-band, PDA functions), the SPV looks nice, but works like crap and you have to look at that stupid ORANGE logo all the time.

My advice is stay far away from M$ based phones. I wouldn't even touch them with a long stick.
