Hi,

I have 4Gb M2 in my C905. I used same card in my K850i.
I hade it in several phones, took lots of pictures, installed a lot of games and other stuff. I did not deleted games or apps. and they do not show on meny when I put it in new phone. But I know that there is a lot garbage on mem. card.

Is there any way to format it on C905 and should I do it. Do I get something if I format it?

thanx

do you want to format the m2? if so, go to file manager > options > memory status > select memory card > options > format memory card.

but i see your problem is that you cant show the content of the memory card even though you say it has data on it.

The java apps are not lost, but they will not appear in the new phone. They will re-appear if you insert the card in the phone on which they were installed. I think this is some kind of stupid copy protection issue. Or, maybe, there is some kind of addressing index for programs and games remaining in the phone memory, even though the program or game is installed on the memory card.

Yeah, that's right.

I hade this card in 6 different phones, and on everyone I installed games and java apps. They do not show now on latest phone. But I can see that it is much slower now ( to start apps) than it was when I first started with this mem. card. There is some of apps that are installed several times, like gmail or tetris

If I erase everything (java apps, not pictures) and put new apps that I like to have now I think it will be faster. I was just not sure how to format (erase old java apps that are not visible) card and if it is safe.

When you format your memory card in phone, as tranced said, everything will be vanished. Everything means everything - all visible and invisible things. Ok?

Try to replace the items you want to keep, to your K850. After that format the M2 in your C905. Then send the items with bluetooth from K850 to C905. If you cant send them, sorry, you'll have to download it again. Good luck mate.

Hi,

I done it and it works much faster now after formating. It took like an hour to back-up all files but it was worth it!

Cheers!
