> Very creacky C702

Since tuesday, (now it's thursday) I use my C702. I've heard about problems regarding the assembly quality at SE, but never expected it would be that bad. Even at the slightest touch, at the right side around the camera key the thing makes a cracking noise. The keys are stiff, to connect a cable you need to hold the phone, so I can't avoid it. I think it is really a shame. I bought it because I needed a rugged set. I don't care about finish, paint that wears off, but that sound it makes is really a faillure in my eyes.
Are there more people with the same problems, and/or what is your perception of it? It's a great concept, the features are good and SE's UI is simly the best of them, but at this point I cannot accept it and maybe want to get rid of it.

My old C702 doesn't make any such noises, have you checked if the battery cover is fully secured? The paint does wear off after my heavy usage of it but the general build quality is still OK.

Nooooo!!!! Differently from gtr83 I still have my C702 and it's even in good conditions... It feels very solid, only the battery cover could sometimes creak a little bit... The paint is another thing, even with minimum useage it wears off, initally from the corner, then slowly along the sides and so on...

My c702 sometimes still gives me non responsive shortcuts button,
but usually after restart, the problem solved..
It happens 2 times in a month..

my c702 is a bit creaky at the top right corner. it went like that when i opened it. think im guilty

Mine isn't too creaky. Bit of paint loss at the top of the screen.
It is the only phone I have owned that has no dust under the screen.

The creaks are around the silver rim and the upper side. It's not that the phone doesn't function, but it feels terrible. It's like the parts doesn't fit well enough. Maybe the screws must be tightened. Maybe I have to accept it, and is it flimsy finished, just like many other cellphones

I won't put water on it....but I don't like it, I use it for 3 days now, and it's getting worse. I hate it. can't say anything else. Feels like secondhand trash and I won't use it anymore.
