hi.i hav a gmail account and email adress.im asking on how do i convert the acc. info,so that whn i want 2 check new emails,i dnt go to the gmail website,but MESSAGESgEMAIL INBOXoCHEK NEW MAI.What a d settings i hav ä edit for a gmail acc.may sb whith d same account,or anybody who knows help.thanks very much

Note that it will work only if your network supports Internet. WAP won't do.

-IMAP settings for Gmail-

Connection type: IMAP4
Incoming server address: imap.gmail.com
Encryption: SSL

SMTP server address: smtp.gmail.com
Encryption: SSL

If it works, the phone will ask whether you want to enable IMAP Push. If you enable it, new emails will be delivered to your phone automatically. Note that it is going to use traffic and hence will cost.

i have tried,but didnt work.it says EMAIL SERVER ACCESR ERRO!Whats d problem.im using the login password in SMTP & IMAP Password and my email adress in SMTP & IMAP ID.My home network is MTN Swaziland,but im not sure if it support INTERNAT OR WAP.Any further help plz.THANKS.
