Hello, I'm new to this forum, looks a good place to ask my question.

I have a Sony W580i mobile phone. I recently took it apart in order to replace the original housing as it had become damaged.

On putting it all back together again and admiring my lovely new pink phone, I discovered the LCD no longer works, I've never had a problem with it at all previously.

The phone switches on, lights up, I can call the phone, and it rings, also, can make outgoing calls, but obviously this is all done blindly, as the screen is dead.

Would appreciate it if anyone out there has any ideas how to fix this. I would buy a new LCD but am reluctant until I know that is the main problem and it's not something else. Thank you for your time.

I think that is LCD problems,my K550i face this problem too

Well, I took delivery of a new LCD today and the screen still won't display. Any ideas anyone, as to what the problem could be?. The phone calls, receives calls, texts, everything seems to be working as it should apart from the screen.

K550 and W610 uses SanyoEpson TFD screen
While K810 and K800 uses Hitachi TFT screen

Go to the nearest SE service center for repair

Your phone have been modded dispdriver? My K550i also can call,receive call,take picture and listen to music,but with no screen,maybe is main board problem
