Well as we all know both these phones have had there fair shares of problems, the k850 was cut off early and didnt even run a yearly cycle of sales, and now the C905 has now been cut off, currentley 02,3,phones4u, do not sell this handset anymore, they all did but have not for more than a month now, the c905 started selling in October (?) so the flagship device has had a cycle of 9months. If the C905 was a real succes the phone should be in the shops still, the C902 is still in all the shops, and so is the K770i, and the K800 isnt that hard to find either. So is it safe to say the C905 is the same as the K850?

I had a K850i and it broke..same with the C905 it broke three times. No surprise it was full of faults. The W995 has taken it's place in the shops that's why.

I have always enjoyed SE phones but the C905 has got on my nerves it's an ugly big phone..W995 looks nicer now.

I'm keen to get rid of my C905.

Then I must be a very very lucky guy because my 09W04 C905 has never had any of the problems mentioned here on these forums, aside from the slightly wobbly slider and camera cover, and the chrome paint peeling off the shutter button.

Guys, it's only common that people who have probs with their handset go complain on forums. And how will we ever know if the posters actually represent any more than 5% of the C905 owners population? 1%? 90%? We won't, because there's just no way to clarify these things.

All you see on esato are complaints, the ones with c905 good condition phones dont really post like I do. true the k850 had problems,but its common flaw is understandable.its the touch buttons...which tend to normally break even on other cellphones or gadgets.

so yeah i also have a perfectly working c905, since i got it last december(in a week of its release).... and sometimes i think other people tend to release or force the slide of the c905,thats why it gets broken....it slide is so good that it move so fast that it feels like it could hurt the phone...thats why i hold it while opening it... that is also a common problem not only to se...but on almost any slider phone...

Gtr, dont be soo sure. I have a 09W04, and well mines facked up now!

Need to ring O2, as this is now my third phone, well third C905 to break, in 6 Months.. O2 no longer sock the C905, so looks like im shafted! Unless they offer me the W995, which i can't see happening.

Had though about the N96, and Omnia HD, but it looks like they ont stock these either! O2 stock is sh*te now because of the iphone!

@superleeds
Heck, how can our luck be so different?
I got the C905 on early February by the way. And it's still my first one to this day... Anyway, it's now in my brother's hands since I got a new (well, used) phone. Mind you mate, I wouldn't recommend the N96! You should get a N95 8GB instead! Or Samsung i7110.

Had been working fine this one, asin the third C905. Then sunday morning tried ringing a mate of mine, he couldn't here me, had to put it on loudspeaker everytime i want to talk to someone!

Soo, whats up with the N96? I would like the W995, but i can't see the camera been as effective, most of the images i take are in clubs, pubs etc, therefore i need something with a good flash to brighten the place up!

I would highly consider a N86, taking pics and vids with it in clubs with that wide angle lens will be awesome,you wont have to be moving back all the time and all that.
