On the T28 I can go to personal ringtones, pick a ringtone, and when I have to assign it to a contact, I can instead type in the first part of the number (+2711345????) and use a questionmark as a wildcard for the rest of the number (any calls that match the first part of the number will ring with that personal ringtone. NOW, how do you do this with a T68i.......!!!!!!!

not stated anything about it in the manual about it, so it probably doesn't exist...

can't do that on the t68I.....with the t68, go to phonebook > manage contact > edit contact > choose > edit ringtone.

i'm also a t28 user before

This is a great feature to have, as most company PABX's don't give out the actual phone number that is being called from, but the first few digits are normally the same.

Ok, so how does that get the same effect. Please explain grouping....

Some of you seem to be missing the point..!!!

I know how to set up a personal ring for a phonebook entry, but what I am trying to do is set up a personal ring for a number that matches a wilcard number (ie: it is SIMILAR, but not the same as the entry in the phonebook...!!!!!!!!!!!

T28 users will know what I am talking about.

Yeah, but dot shout it's a bug. It just does'nt have this option. T28 has no i.e. photo-phonebook. Is it a bug?

Besides it was mentioned before. Use search...

Yip, I agree. BUT, I was the one that mentioned it before, and you may have noticed that no-one had anything worthwhile to say.

Just trying to find out if anyone has found a way to do it yet.......
