After struggling with the modem settings and ip addresses and dns servers and stuff finally I got it working.
I just cant remember what I did .. but that post with all the worlds service provider settings didn't help cuz everything in there was wrong. The dns servers are 203.124.230.12 and 203.124.230.100 and the extra init string is:
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","bplgprs.com"
I tried a lot but I was mostly greeted with a "Wrong IP address" message on the handset. The customer service guy told me that I have an old version of GPRS on my handset and i should upgrade my software. I said ok. But I kept trying, and here I am!
The speed sucks .. almost as bad as a really bad telephone connection but hey at least it works. $15/mo unlimited. Alriiight!
