So I have my black w995 for a week now. So far no problems with the firmware, love the phone but the slider isn't perfect. So many reviews say that the slider mechanism doesn't wobble even a bit but mine does.

I will survive as I used to have a n95-1 which has the crappiest slider ever. Do all w995's wobble just a bit at the left bottom corner when closed (compared to the right) and when open the part of the slider (where's the D-pad and the screen) travels just a bit to the right or they are completely solid and fixed at those positions??

How's your guys? Need to know cause I suddenly don't feel I made the right choice...

I've had my

W995 for 1,5 weeks now and I recognize the first part where the slide wobbles in the left corner with slide closed. When slide open, no complains. I've been in touch with my store where I bought the phone and I will hand it in for service as soon as I'm back in town in 2 weeks. Otherwise no other complains, though I think the font size are to large in general, you can't have different ring tones to the different profiles and only one mail account active
I'm used to my old W960 and my work phone HTC Touch Dual on that part.
Cheers,

No wobbles on my side, its solid!!!
Although im worried about the stand lever at the back... not a problem but it should have had a "click" just to keep it in place.
Overall excellent build quality.

That's great. I don't remember if my device was like that since the very first day or the slider became loose after a week of use. Btw it's so little wobble that one won't notice if I don't mention it so I can't go to the shop and ask them to fix it...they will think I'm insane!

Mine didn't wobble even a bit. Also, the kickstand did have sort of a "click into place" mechanism.
