The phone is pretty palm-friendly, though it is largely thanks to the side-mounted velvety dark-grey insert that doesn’t let the G700 slip out of your hand.

updating to latest firmware to GW1 will be great and lot of bug fixed,, of all the UIQ phones that I have seen and some have used,, G700 is most likely the lightest,, when I used it, there's only minimal hangups and crashes,,

Can it be connected via MyPhone Explorer and how about internet browsing since my operator provides gprs/edge and no 3g

yez,, it can,, about connection, if your provider doesn't support 3G then be ready to use GPRS connection only because it has no edge,, but if your on browsing only, i reccomend using operamini since its faster than the built-in browser,,

Hi c_vignesh

For the G700 to be able to connect to MyPhoneExplorer, you have to install and run first the PC Suite that comes with the phone CD. The PC Suite has to be running and show that the G700 is connected. Then start MPE. (In non-UIQ SE phones you only have to install the phone drivers to the PC and MPE will connect to the phone.)
