How do i get PDF files to load in firefox and not preview?

no just to view them, i do lot of work onlne and just switched to mac. on windows it opens in a new tab but in mac it opens in preview....

sorry if i make no sense, just lost my official mac virginity

Tried installing adobe reader?

Probably a Firefox plugin as PDF files open within Safari.
