how do i transfer my applications from this phone, so i can install at a later date

if the apps are transfered over bt, they will automatically be installed. now, if you, using the computer, transfer the files to the other folder you'll be able to install them whenever you want.

You will have to access file system by using A2Uploader. The apps are in TPA/PRESET/SYSTEM/AMS
