Hey people, just need a bit of a favor:

I cant create a Quick Access Patch for my w200; when i drop the main file over the qamaker.exe, it says it is not a valid win32 application. I think I know the reason. My PC has recently been infected with a virus and it is displaying the same message over many applications. So after trying everything last night, ranging from anti-virus to using my laptop (damn!!

it also got infected as i stupidly transferred the same qamaker.exe from my pc to it..). And also I dont have a friend around whose PC i can use... I urgently need the quick access patch.
So here goes the "Asking" part:
Can somebody download these 2 files and send the quick access patch over to my email id.. (It would really be helpful!!)

QAMAKER (or just use your own copy if u are worried about some virus..)

I have no antivirus in my system at present. And everytime I download qamaker.exe the download size is 29kb buton my system it becomes 95.5kb. Dunno what all is happening... Can anybody just link me to the Quick Access Patch. I think esato members are that helpful. They have always come to my rescue...
By the way, I have googled, binged and done everything. No options.
And what else do you expect from a guy who has been stuck over a small thing as a QAP for over 20hrs...

I'd sort out your virus problem first. Its attaching itself to exe files. Get some decent av software installed. Doing anything to your phone with an infected pc is very risky!

Ok, i found a helpful friend whose computer i used to try the qamaker.exe. As I dropped the firmware file over it, it said unsupported platform. Doesnt qamaker support cid53? Does it mean I have to flash it back to cid52 (r4ha014)??

boysie is right, its a virus thats installing tiny self-extract copies of itself in all exe files
get an AV like avast or bit-defender and AVG
they should work fine
clean ur pc
then check all other files
SCAN HARD DRIVE FOR VIRUSES HARD
then make quick access patch...

and qamaker support CID53???
nope...
search google, there are answers u'll find there...
search for w200 cid53 quick access patch

Qamaker does work on CID53.

Its the DB2012 it doesn't support. You don't need a qapatch to patch DB2012.

@harsh: I installed avast, and you know what, even it is infected now, and wouldnt turn on. The only solution that I have right now regarding the AV is to format my laptop (which i can, coz i dont have much data in it) and install avast there and then run a virus scan over the LAN.
And regarding the patch, I couldnt get any for w200 cid53. And even I tried the executor.b method, even got the bflash in jdflasher, but couldnt proceed further as it gave some error (error was some reddish thing..). And after that my phone would just not switch on.. and I had to reflash it..
