> k800i button problem

I have this friend's k800i wherein when he press the button the camera focuses(Theres the green light) but does not save when pushes all the way. He tried everything like pushing it harder but nothing happens. What could be the reason

normally that's a failure of the dome switch itself ... the fix is to replace the
keypad flex.
