The great football legend Sir Bobby Robson has died peacefully at his home after a long battle with cancer aged 76. He died at his home in county Durham with his family at his side. He was a great man and a legend in English football. Bless his soul R.I.P see more at www.skynews.com

In the late 70's, he used to bring Ipswich Town out to HMS Ganges at Shotley to do their pre-season training/warmup with the Navy. He was a real approachable guy and would find the time to talk to you. Names like Mick Mills, Lambert, Terry Butcher to name but a few were all there. Fun times.
Been expecting this for years but really sad.

He was a legend. But i dont know whats wrong with some sick people. My brother seen someone on FaceBook on a tribute page to Sir Bobby some guy slagging him off saying he was nothing and it was a great day with him dying. Whats wrong with people god sake. This guy was from Wales.

i dont know what s wrong with these people. they should be ashame of themselves. but no matter what they did. they couldnt change the fact, that who was a legend as you say. and it s hard to find someone as talented as he as. such a great player.
