> contacts not 100% sorted alhabetically

Hi!
In my P1i I have around 700 contacts which are added from time to time & some copied from pc from other mobiles. Now i am having trouble while searching contacts alphabetically there are many entries which will not come by seach. So for those I have to manually scroll till that entry.
To explain more I found that contacts are in alphabetical order e.g first the contacts with A will come (like Aa,Ab,Ac...). then after that again other contacts for A will start so there are two types of contacts which are sorted on some creteria & is same for every alphabet on my contact list. So this is some problem due to which i cant search always ever contact.
If anyone knw how to resolve this.
If somethg like some contacts are on phone & some on memory card? anyway to check & sort...

I have same problem before but i think the solution is :
you need to update some number of contact which appear with (w), (h)...
if u have only with parenthesis u need to put at least one of number as default
without use parenthesis ..

I also find some portion sorted out with deleting multiple entries
& some via breaking the whole first name into first & last name.
still working to resolve 100 %
