I dropped my t68 in the sink!!
Help!!!
It ws submerged (not fully) for about 1 second. Did not work at first. Totally dried it out under hand dryer for about 15 minutes. Worked on and off. Then worked fine (apart from the screen a bit dodgy) until I turned it off and now it won't turn back on.
When I turn on, I get the three tones, the screen flickrs but stays black, and i get the green led which stays on. Then nothing. Bugger all. Jack s**t. Zilch.
To turn off, i have to take off battery.
Any advice??????

Keep it open and separate (battery out) for another 15-20 minutes. Sounds like thee's still some water in there.

If you've been using it while it's still wet you've probably blown some of the circuits.

And PLZ Don't use the hairdryer........just put it in your central heating system closet (or something simular) to let it dry slowely -Battery removed- (no microwaves, putting it ON a heatingsystempannel or other DIRECT heating devices, they aren't allowed now !!!!, slow drying will do the trick)
and DONT put it on anymore at least not for the comming 2 days
this also happend to me once with a really old ericsson 628
{this phone really thought it could swim.....dropped it in the toilet, cleaned it with plenty of water afterwards)
AND THIS STILL WORKS !!!!

The thing is in this kind of cases to NEVER put the phone on, ok i can imagine that you got scared and wanted to know if it would work still, but best is to shut phone off as quick as possible. shake the water out, seperate battery and let it dry slowly)
Hopefully some good tips for the next one who has a phone with a bad habbit (like swimming skills) of its own.

mscarrot is absolutely right. Do NOT use a blowdryer and keep it warm for at least two days. I have seen three of them recover from such submersions. You should not have turned it on but do as we suggest anyway. I will keep my fingers crossed!!!

My son decided it was a good idea to let my wife wash his T65 in the washing machine. Was in there for a full hot was came out looking like a new pin but would not work. I took it to bits separated the battery cleaned all it's bit's and pieces and blow me if it worked no bother at all. Has worked perfect for months now, he did the same thing with a nokia 3330 and that drowned never to work again only this was not in for long but long enough for it to die so the moral of the story is if you want to wash or teach aphone to swim make sure it is an Ericsson.
