Hello,
At the moment I have a SEg900 and I think it's about time for something new, as I can say a lot of bad things about it.
I thought I'd go for SEw995.
But, the way I text with the g900 is with the usage of the shutter button at the side. Pressing it half makes it move a letter. So typing aaaa would be: 2shutter2shutter2shutter2.
I hope you know what I mean.
This way typing with a phone goes a lot faster.
So my question is, can you type the same way with the w995?
Because when you open the keypad, the shutter button is located at a higher place.

Edit: oh I just realise only the screen moves when you slide it. So the shutter button remains next to the keypad.
In that case, my only question is: can you type in the same way like the other SE's?

I get what you mean. Yes you can do that but you will find it more comfortable (on w995) to use the d-pad (left or --RIGHT--). So you can do that instead: 2-right-2-right-2-right-2
I find "tricks" like that in every phone i get and it's easier to get used to "them" than you may think.
