hi all,
My SE C902 has gone all buggy on me.
1-the camera opens up when i slide the thingy (dont knw the name for it) but when i take a picture it jumps to the main menu, doesn't take the picture.
2-the phone volume in the speaker(not the loud speaker) is very very low, just went down after i did a firmware upgrade from SEUS.

ive upgraded and re-installed the firmware from SEUS a couple of times with no effect.

help please

try to use A2Uploader and flash it. otherwise it could be HW problem. My C902 with the latest FW (R3EA038) operates normal, without any problems...

and which firmware do i flash it with, my current firmware is R3EA038.
just saw the A2uploader video on how to flash and im a newbie

flashing could solve the bugs especially cam-problem. (I have had the same problem with K800i, flashing via XS++ solved it)

I think, you can use FW from: http://www.iprotebe.cz/sony-e[....]re-c902-cid52-section1420.html
e.g. R3DA028 and than use SEUS for actual FW.

You have to back up your customize.xml (with CDA number...) - path is: TPA/Preset/Custom (function Read)

Instructions for A2Uploader: http://forum.semania.cz/index.php?topic=21838.0 - but it is in Czech - but there are pictures - step by step.

Or you can flash it with R3EA038 - but customize.xml is very important - without customize. xml - your phone will not work - on display will be: "contact service"

You have to put it to same destination: TPA/Preset/Custom

okay i flashed the phone with R3EA038 Main+FS.
i didnt back up the CDA as u told me because i flashed it before ur post
the flash went fine but afterwards the phone didnt play audio or video and the camera wasnt working as usual
so i reinstalled using SEUS, and now im back to square 1.

Camera is not working and speaker volume very low.

should i flash with a different firmware?
if yes then which one, there are so many

And what is your CDA? You could use customize_upgrade.xml with CDA e.g Central Europe (1201-0116) and then SEUS for reflash...

Put it to this directory TPA/Preset/Custom - turn on phone - it loads changes - turn off and use SEUS (reinstall/reflash)

back up your customize.xml before using customize_upgrade.xml with different CDA.

my CDA is 1208-7117. i tried a different customize.xml (Alona_i_1208-6209_R1A_Customized_United_Kingdom)
no change.

OK, but 1208-7117 is customized FW for O2 UK, and 1201-0116 is non-branded original SE FW... I would try it. (changing CDA by A2Up and flashing by SEUS) Otherwise I dont know - sorry (HW problem)

i did the rune 5.5 mod or something and now i have the CDA that u said -0116.
still no gain.
i guess its a hardware fault then
