That happened to me on Orange a couple of years ago on hold for 2 hours whilst i carried on doing what i was doing i left it on speaker phone. Still never got through. From experience Orange is better now on pay as you go anyway i normally get through straight away depending on time of day. The only thing that annoys me now with Orange is the endless menus pressing numbers. Am surprised with Vodafone never thought it was that bad.
