Greetings!

I got my brand new SE W715. Worked fine. Hooked it up to wifi, upgraded firmware. Wifi still worked, for a while, and now it doesn't. I can see in the phone that there is an even fresher firmware update, but every time I try to update using GPRS it fails after downloading the whole file except for the last kilobyte or so.

My question: (and i've been searching everywhere for this)
Can I update firmware using USB-cable on a Mac, or, DL the firmware myself and put it on the phone memory and do the upgrade from there? The only other viable option would be to install Winblows in a virtual container and try from there but that seems far-fetched.

Sad that FOTA doesn't work. SEUS and A2uploader only run under winblows . I.ve got a small partition on my Mac for XP . Bootcamp . I only use it for SE .
